Krishna is the eighth avatar or reincarnation of the lord vishnu. Krishna was born to Devaki Vasudev in Mathura and is raised by Yashoda and Nandlaal in Gokul and Vrindavan. Krishna is portrayed in various roles: a god-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero and the Supreme Being.
